چکیده

The deleterious effects of salts on plants exposed to high solar radiation tend be more accelerated due the increase toxic ions in aerial plant part. Consequently, physiological and biochemical processes will affected. These can minimized, however, with use management strategies, such as a shading screen protected environment. In this sense, objective work was evaluate responses sugar beet cultivated different environments irrigated saline water. experiment conducted an experimental design entirely randomized, using factorial scheme 3 × 2, equivalent three (FS = full sun; SSOS open sides PE environment) two electrical conductivities irrigation water (0.5 6.2 dS m-1), four repetitions. At 45 days after sowing (DAS) following variables were analyzed: stomatal conductance, liquid photosynthesis, transpiration, internal CO2 concentration, leaf temperature, instantaneous efficiency, carboxylation intrinsic relative chlorophyll index. Irrigation higher salinity negatively affected net temperature efficiency grown sun environment partially mitigated salinity.

Physiological Responses of Rosa rubiginosa to Saline Environment

The aim of this work was to analyse the response of Rosa rubiginosa to salinity induced by different concentrations of sodium chloride and calcium chloride (0, 25, 50, 100, 150 and 200 mM). Besides salt accumulation and pH changes, other parameters were investigated including photosynthetic activity, leaf water content, the dynamics of necrosis and chlorosis appearance and leaf drying. The stud...

Sugar Beet Genotypes Grouping under Normal and Saline Conditions

For ranking and grouping of full-sibs and hybrids of sugar beet obtained from breeding programs, two separate experiments were carried out at the farm of the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Station of Miandoab in 2017 under saline and normal conditions. For this purpose, 17 full-sibs and 28 hybrids differing in resistance and susceptibility to environmental stresses were investigate...

The effect of microbial inoculants on physiological responses of two wheat cultivars under salt stress

Salinity is one of the most important abiotic stresses that limit crop growth and productivity. This study focuses on the effects of different strains of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on the physiological responses of two wheat cultivars under normal and salt stress conditions. The wheat cultivars selected include one which is tolerant to salinity (Kavir) and one which is sensitiv...

Physiological Responses of Some Rootstocks and Interspecific Hybrids of Pistachio to Cold Stress under Greenhouse Conditions

Cold is an environmental factor limiting the growth and yield of agricultural crops. To find cold-tolerant pistachio rootstocks, a factorial experiment was conducted at Pistachio Research Center (PRC), Rafsanjan, Iran during 2017-2018. The factors included six rootstocks (Badami Zarand, Ghazvini, Sarakhs, Integerrima × Badami Zarand, Integerrima × Ghazvini and Integerrima × Sarakhs) and four th...
